We got there Friday evening and they upgraded us to a sweet suite! :) It was perfect because Q got to sleep in the living room part and we got our own room (of sorts). They even brought us some snacks and free beer!
We immediately headed to the pool where they have a kids pool and slides, lazy river, adults-only pool and three huge water slides. Q was in heaven!
Q trying to say "cheeeeese!"
That night Quinn got her very first s'more and of course she LOVED it!
Saturday, we put our suits on again and headed down for breakfast. They have an awesome breakfast buffet (expensive, but really yummy) and I scarfed down my food so I could take Q to the pool. Toddlers at a resort does not equal relaxing on the porch sipping coffee. She had one thing in mind: swimming.
We swam and played all day Saturday. I even got to lay by the pool and enjoy a book while Jeremy and Q went up to take a nap. We ate dinner at the resort and Q got to run around and do flips on the beautiful lawn after dinner. There were surprisingly lots of kids there and she loves watching older kids. Hours of entertainment!
It was randomly really windy that night.
Keepin' it classy at dinner.
Sunday, we left the resort and got (a much cheaper) breakfast at IHOP before heading to the zoo. I think Jeremy and I were more excited than Q. We couldn't wait to see her reaction to the animals. She loved all of them and got pretty brave at some points going pretty close. It was really hot but we still had a good two hours of fun there. At the end Q got to pick out a prize and she got a little stuffed hippo that we named Poppy (a hippo character from one of her books).
After the zoo we headed home. We stopped at Freddy's for lunch and Q got to have her own milkshake. She definitely got her parents' genes there...we are all ice cream lovers!
We had a great little mini-vacay! The best thing about toddlers is that they are easily entertained. We don't have to spend too much money and she is happy as can be. I suppose we should start saving for when she asks for more expensive trips. I see Disney in our future for sure.

Oooh David wants to go to Disney with you, Quinn! ;) It looks like she's doing better in her car seat now... or maybe that was just a really good day?? Those are some great pics and memories of a fun family vacation!
