She Works Hard for the Money

The title of this post is half the reason I haven't written in so long! The other half is that Jeremy and I have recently become addicted to Lost. Yes, we are a little behind. We are in season one and loving it!!

Anyway, I decided it's about time to give a shout out to my jobs. Yes, jobs plural! I recently started a business on the side and I am loving it! Here's the scoop on how I make money and have fun doing it:

My Real Job: Services Sales Consultant for Volusion eCommerce 
(translation: I sell marketing and design services to our customers to help their online businesses succeed.)
I love working for Volusion! I have been there for about a year and three months now and it has been fun to see the company grow. I like to think that I have a small part in that (along w/ the other SUPER hard-working folks on my sales team).  We are quickly becoming the #1 eCommerce company out there, so if you need to take your business online, give me a call. I have learned so much about our software, online marketing/SEO and design and it's fun to be in an industry that is so innovative. I guess I have a little bit of "tech nerd-dom" in me now! The culture at Volusion is one of my favorite things. We work hard and play hard...take a look at the video below and you will see what I mean. My Fun Side Job: Independent Distributor for Shaklee

I am a huge believer in health. I think our bodies are God's temple and we are called to take care of them and be good stewards of what we have. I also think environmental stewardship is important. Working hard for the money doesn't have to be miserable. I learned that a couple of years ago. I think we all go through growing pains in our careers and they only make us stronger. I am blessed to have found two jobs that make me happy!
